Dani Barretto opens home to Legaspi family
Dani Barretto has reunited with members of the Legaspi family, including Zoren, Carmina and their twins Mavy and Cassy.
On Instagram, Dani documented the heartfelt reunion saying "if you had told me years ago that one day, I'd be welcoming my Legaspi family into my own home, I would've never realized just how healing this moment would feel."
"There was a time when this was just a quiet prayer in my heart, to be able to show my gratitude to the people who carried me through one of the hardest times of my life," she added.
The Kapuso Legaspi fam were accompanied by another Legaspi brother, Brando, and his family, as well as the Legaspi matriarch Hershey. Dani's father, Kier, was noticably absent.
In Dani's carousel post, the family could be seen enjoying a good meal and celebrating the birthday of Dani's sister Samantha.
In her caption, Dani thanked the family for "loving and always being there for me and Sam through every season of our lives."
"I love you all so much," she added, as she said a thanksgiving prayer.
Zoren took to the comment section to expressed pride in Dani. "I'm just so proud of what you've become — wonderful mother, a successful businesswoman, and an inspiration through your podcast." He wrote as he also thanked her for taking care of Sam.
Dani replied, and thanked her "ninong for always showing up for us."
Carmina, Cassy, and Mavy likewise left heartfelt comments.
Dani's husband, Xavi Panlilio piped in saying, "naiyak ako," while Dani's mom, Marjorie Barretto wrote, "this is so nice, Dan. Grateful for all the love they showed you over the years."
Dani is the daughter of Marjorie and Zoren's brother Kier Legaspi, who in a 2023 interview with Nelson Canlas, admitted he's no longer in communication with his daughter.
In 2021, Dani told GMA News Online that Kier had her number and he could call her anytime.
In any case, Dani appears in good spirits following the reunion with the Legaspi family. In Zoren's post about the reunion, she commented, "I love you guys so much."
