F1: George Russell and Carmen Mundt are engaged!

There is a newly engaged couple in the Formula 1 paddock!

Mercedes driver George Russell just popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Carmen Mundt, and she said yes.

On Instagram, the celebrity couple shared a joint post announcing their engagement.

In the photos, the two matched their outfits in white as they enjoyed a romantic outdoor dinner with a view of the sea. Carmen also showed off her engagement ring in the photo carousel: an oval-shaped yellow diamond ring.

George and Carmen have been dating since 2020.

George has been a Mercedes driver since 2022, with seven Grand Prix wins and 29 podium finishes to his name.

Meanwhile, Carmen has a background in finance and business and is the co-founder of skincare brand Barriers.

The couple is the second pair among Formula 1 drivers to get engaged this year, following Alex Albon and Lily Muni He’s engagement in January.
