Gwyneth Paltrow spotlights Tortang Talong in cooking video
Gwyneth Paltrow is at it again, featuring a Filipino dish in one of her cooking videos!
On Instagram, the Hollywood actress shared a reel showing her preparing Tortang Talong, with her own twist of topping it with garlicky turkey crumbles.
She cooked the eggplant the traditional way by grilling it directly over a stove flame before dipping it in beaten eggs and frying it.
To make the dish even more Filipino, Gwyneth also made banana ketchup from scratch to serve as a dipping sauce.
"Tortang Talong with garlicky turkey crumbles and banana ketchup," she captioned. "A Filipino breakfast classic."
In the comment section, Filipino celebrities approved of Gwyneth's Tortang Talong, including Erwan Heussaff, Isabelle Daza, Lotlot De Leon, and Neri Naig, among others.
"Thank you for not calling it Eggplant Omelette," Erwan commented.
In April 2025, Gwyneth also tried her hand at cooking Pork Tocino for breakfast.
Gwyneth has been married to Brad Falchuk since 2018. She has two children, Apple and Moses, with ex-husband singer Chris Martin.
