God may not be on any flatbread, but the pope is now on a biscuit.
Renowned Pampanga chef Atching Lillian Borromeo is preparing for Pope Francis' upcoming visit to the Philippines by baking what she calls "panecillos de Santo Papa," according to a report on 24 Oras on Saturday.
The biscuits bear the Pope's image and the words "Viva Santo Papa." According to the report, Borromeo said she made seven molds before settling on the best one to imprint the dough with before it is baked.
