WATCH: Ramen burger gaining fans in Cebu restaurant

People tired of the same fast food may want to try this Japanese twist on a western classic - or a western twist to a Japanese classic.

A Japanese restaurant in Cebu is offering the ramen burger, where fried ramen takes the place of a burger bun, GMA Cebu reported.

Aside from the burger patty, the sandwich also has garden lettuce, signature Japanese sauce, honeycured bacon, beef patty, sauce, roasted onions and sesame seeds.

It is served with a side dish of potato chips - but will set a customer back by P245.

"Actually it is my first time to taste this burger, ibang flavor and one of a kind burger here in Cebu," said diner Mark Anthony Chua.

Manager Cresencio Cuya said they wanted to serve guests a "unique kind of food" that would "cater to the modern world style" in Cebu City. — Joel Locsin/JDS, GMA News
