Save room for dessert...rather, save room for a meal that's has the best flavor of all—familiar and comforting. The World Street Food Congress Jamboree begins on Wednesday.

Until Sunday (April 24), the public is invited to savor the offerings of the world's best in very casual dining.

Street food from 10 different countries are waiting to be sampled at Federacion Drive corner 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Portland-based Churreria "Churros Locos" is just one of the many stalls the hungry public can check out.

Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Singaporean, Malaysian, Indonesia, and Thai spreads will all be fighting for a bit of space in your stomach.

Try our neighbor's favorites, like Thailand's "Hoy Tord" or seafood omelette. It was chosen as the best snack by the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The mixture of seafood, coriander, spring onions, bean sprouts and white paper result in an inviting crispy-but-chewy pancake-like treat.

For "hot"-heads, on your list should be Ayam Taliwang. It's the spiciest grilled chicken dish known to Indonesians.

Another must-try from Indonesia is the Martabak Markobar

"They make this death-by-chocolate pancake much like a pizza, where dough in poured onto a special pancake mould," writes Anton Diaz of food blog Our Awesome Planet. "It comes out with crispy edges and soft gummy body, and has up to 8 versions of chocolate toppings."

Additionally, Diaz is also part of a series of dialogues organized for the World Street Food Congress. Aside from his blog, Diaz is also the co-founder of Mercato Centrale. On Wednesday (April 20), he will be giving a lecture titled, "Capitalizing on the Street and Heritage Food Opportunities in Manila."

Also on Wednesday's panel of speakers is Thai Iron Chef Ian Kittichai, who will be speaking about "The Elegance of Street Food."
