Guinobatan, Albay celebrates Longganisa Festival

If we're talking Bicol cuisine, the longganisa of Guinobatan, Albay is one of the unmissable highlights.

The town is currently celebrating its fourth annual longganisa festival, complete with street parades and a culinary competition among high school and college students. The two-week festival culminates on the feast of the town patroness, Our Lady of Assumption, whose feast day falls on August 15.
