McDo to treat early birds with free sandwich on ‘Nat’l Breakfast Day’

People rightly decry fast food as bad for your health and waistline, but there are some food items offered by the big chains that are, simply, heaven. One such offering is Jollibee's Tuna Pie. Another is McDonald's Sausage McMuffin.

Next Monday, March 13, McDonald's will observe a holiday of its own making: National Breakfast Day. On that day, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., about 450 participating McDonald's branches nationwide will be giving away free breakfast sandwiches to dine-in, take-out and drive-through customers. Every customer can get either an Egg McMuffin, a Sausage McMuffin, or a Burgerdesal. This last one is described by McDonald's as a sandwich composed of soft pandesal, a burger patty and "a sweet, creamy, and flavorful sauce."

If you can make it to McDo within that one-hour window and your branch is a participating store, that fried freebie is yours. — BM, GMA News
