Makati Diamond Residences' champagne & tapas buffet runs until Friday

Before the real mad rush of Christmas begins, how about you treat yourself to an indulgent and luxurious hotel buffet?  

Makati Diamond Residences, the posh-looking yet affable hotel along Legazpi Street, brings back its best-selling champagne and tapas buffet at Alfred, their ground floor lounge, which runs until...Friday, December 15, from 6pm to 9pm.

At the forefront is bottomless bubbly with Jean Vesselle Brut Reserve — a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay — with red and white wine, select cocktails, and local beer also available. 

With the free-flowing champers, is a buffet that includes unlimited portions of Jamon Serrano slices and slow-coked U.S. Beef Belly with horseradish cream and red wine reduction sauce — just the thing to pair with the irresistible melted Raclette bar, which is set up complete with accoutrements including cornichons, cocktail onions, boiled baby potatoes, and rye bread.

The tapas selection at Alfred is curated with delicacies like fish brandade, a lovely seabass puree on crostini, salmon tartare, voul au vent escargot with a spinach mousseline, bagna càuda fondue with delicate squash flowers, mushrooms, Fuji apple, and zucchini, Parmesan pudding on crostini with arugula and crema balsamico, and a smoky bird’s nest with chicken and barbeque sauce.

Alfred has also added a pasta option for their buffet line of a smoky saffron chicken paccheri or mildly spicy spaghetti with shrimp scampi.
