The path of delicious, affordable dimsum leads to this acclaimed Chinese restaurant in BGC

Many Filipino diners get intimidated by a restaurant, especially those inside a hotel. Skyrocketing prices alone is enough to deter a diner away.

Which is why it was pleasantly surprising to find the newly revamped lunch menu of Canton Road — Shangri-La Fort's famed Chinese restaurant — peppered with not just delicious dishes but rather affordable dimsum, too!  

Canton Road’s new lunch menu is best described by Chef Wang Wei Qing, the restaurant’s Executive Chinese Chef:

The signature dishes are a blend of the restaurant’s well-loved delights and newly presented flavors, a mix of the bold and spicy flavors of Szechuan, the sweetness of Huiayang, and the classic balance of Cantonese cuisine. Our menu is carefully curated and handpicked to ensure we take into consideration what our diners wish to enjoy.

New offers have been added to their roster of classic dishes, of which the wait staff are more than knowledgeable and willing to explain — yet another factor in making Canton Road a lot friendlier to the regular Juan, who would've taken their extra income elsewhere had it not been the case.
