FRNK Milk Bar just released a DIY recipe you can do at home to make 'Dark Cocoa Milk'
If you're done making Dalgona coffee and you're missing a few beverage offerings like milk drinks from FRNK, brace yourselves: FRNK Milk Bar just dropped a do-it-yourself recipe for your Dark Cocoa Milk fix.
On its Facebook page, the first authentic Japanese milk bar shared an easy recipe you can make at home.
Some of the things you'll need are:
- 300 ml of any available milk
- 100 ml of water
- 4 tablespoon of cocoa powder (unsweetened if possible)
- 4-6 pieces of ice cubes depending on height of glass
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
Here's a gallery of the step by step process on how you can imitate a FRNK Milk Bar drink:
If you are using raw cocoa, FRNK suggests sweetening it up depending on your taste. And if you're using ready-to-drink supermarket bought cocoa, you might want to reduce your sweetener.
You can use full cream milk for this drink — but if you're keeping healthy through the quarantine, you can choose almond or non-fat milk.
Meanwhile, FRNK on Easter Sunday announced on Facebook that their central kitchen is back open with 10 signature craft milk drinks available.
It is ready to take your orders: just message them your full name, delivery address, order and mode of payment on Instagram or Viber.
They've set a minimum of four (4) drinks and maximum of 12 drinks per order.
Since President Rodrigo Duterte placed the whole Luzon on enhanced community quarantine on March 17 to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), people have certainly gotten creative with their time.
They've done from making Dalgona Coffee, to making PPEs, keeping abreast with the latest on Netflix and cutting their own hair.
With ECQ recently extended to April 30, you can be sure everybody will find an awesome use for their time. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
