These ‘Parol Cakes’ will brighten up any Noche Buena table

Guess what: You can have your parol this Christmas and eat it, too!

There’s a cake shop called LG Domenicas Cakes and Pastries that makes delicious and affordable lantern-inspired cakes that can brighten up any Noche Buena table.

For only P599, you can choose from seven original-recipe flavors, including Yummy Yema, Ube Yumm, Pandan Latik, Mango Vanilla, Chocolated Fudge and Mocha Espresso.

You can also try their specialty, the Sapin Sapin Chiffon cake, for only P699.

BTW, these parol cakes are not just pretty to look at: The whole thing is made from solid cake, all the way up to the Christmas star at the top.

LG Domenicas was started by entrepreneur Liza Domingo in 2014.
