In Bacolod, a coffin cafe with menu items that are 'nakakamatay sa sarap'

In Bacolod city, Coffin Break Cafe has been fascinating residents with its unique concept. Instead of tables and chairs, it has coffins for you to eat on. Its mood lighting? Why, they're exactly what you see at funerals and wakes.

According to a report on Dapat Alam Mo!, Coffin Break Cafe is located near a hospital and — we kid you not — a funeral home, so regular guests include doctors, nurses, and those with businesses at both essential establishments.

Co-owner Pao Weber admits the cafe draws instant reactions from passers-by. "Nagrereact kaagad sila, bakit kabaong?" But the novelty and unique concept also draws in curious customers looking for a different kind odf trip.

According to Oscar Oida, the food and drink at Coffin Break Cafe are, ehem, "nakakamatay sa sarap,.

The milk teas and coffee-based drinks meanwhile have enough caffeine, "mabubuhayan ka."

The puns just keep coming, no? That's the kind of happiness and energy one gets from Coffin Break Cafe.
