Kare-kare among Taste Atlas’ 100 best-rated stews


Kare-kare fans, where you at? The well-loved Filipino dish is among Taste Atlas’ best-rated stews.

As of Tuesday, the dish is 52nd on the website’s list of 100 best-rated stews. It was in the 53rd spot last week.

Consisting of peanut butter, meat, vegetables, annato water, boiled oxtail, and served with bagoong, kare-kare earned a rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars from Taste Atlas’ audience.

Topping the list, as of writing, is Kare from Japan, Keema from India, Phanaeng Curry from Thailand, Ghormeh Sabzi from Iran, and Hünkar Begendi from Istanbul.
