Toyo Eatery holds fundraising dinner for the benefit of indigenous women farmers

Filipino dining concept Toyo Eatery will hold a multi-course tasting menu with beverage pairings on Sunday to help raise funds for the 25 women farmers of the Chico River Organic Producers Organization from Bauko, Mountain Province.

In partnership with Good Food Community, the dinner will be centered on an Igorot principle, "Og-ogbo," which means "working hand in hand with everyone in the community to achieve a collective goal."

The amount collected from the event will go to building rain shelters, funding farmer-led research work, and conducting workshops that will help develop indigenous farmers' climate resiliency.

Apart from the dinner, Toyo Eatery will also hold an online raffle and silent auction on Sunday, featuring items donated by local artists and artisans and limited edition Toyo Eatery items.

If you wish to reserve a seat at Sunday's dinner at Toyo, you may do so online at toyoeatery.com.
