This restaurant is gunning for world record of most photos of pepper rice plates uploaded
Pepper Lunch, a popular restaurant chain known for its teppan-style meals, is aiming to set a Guinness World Record.
The company announced the first World Pepper Rice Day, a global celebration marking 31 years since the sizzling debut of the original branch in Tokyo, Japan.
It will be held on July 3 for the Guinness World Record of “Most Photos of Hotplate Pepper Rice Uploaded to Facebook in 1 Hour.”
Those interested need to order any Pepper Rice (whether dining in or for takeout) may upload their photo on Facebook with the hashtag #WorldPepperRiceDay from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 3. Posts need to be made public to be counted as entries.
