Japan’s Pizza Studio Tamaki is finally opening in Makati this October

Pizza Studio Tamaki, the award-winning pizzeria hailing from Tokyo, Japan, is finally opening in Makati.

On Facebook, the official page of Makati announced that the Japanese pizzeria is officially opening on October 11 at the Ayala Triangle.

Starting on Friday, it will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and table reservations are now available online.

Pizza Studio Tamaki is renowned for its wood-fired, Tokyo-style Neapolitan pizzas. Among its bestsellers are the classic Margherita, Bismarck, and the spicy tomato-based Arrabbiata.

Its head chef and owner, Tsubasa Tamaki, has consistently ranked in the Pizza category of the Best Chef Awards since 2023. He ranked No. 10 in 2025, followed by No. 9 in 2024, and No. 17 in 2023.

In 2024, Pizza Studio Tamaki announced its expansion to the Philippines, with the restaurant initially planning to open late last year.
