TikTok-famous Mama Lulu revisits favorite Filipino food spot in Manila

Mama Lulu, the Filipino mom viral on TikTok for her hilarious videos, is making the most out of her two-week vacation in the Philippines.

She wasted no time indulging in some of her favorite Filipino dishes from local restaurants on her first two days back in Manila

On Sunday after church, Mama Lulu and her family dined at the iconic Aristocrat Restaurant in Manila, which she fondly described as their family’s go-to lunch spot when they were still living in the city.

“Naalala ko noong mga bata pa kayong lahat, dito tayo lagi kumakain ng lunch pagkatapos magsimba,” she said.

“Ang daddy mo, andoon kumakain, pumapangat ng crispy pata, pero tayo, chicken barbecue,” she added. “Those were the days.”

Although her husband has already passed away, Mama Lulu said it warms her heart to have her family complete again in Manila after 18 years.

“Ngayon kumpleto ulit tayo kaya masaya nanaman ako,” she said. “Meron pang dalawang dagdag, ang aking dalawang apo.”

Aside from Aristocrat, Mama Lulu also made sure to enjoy classic Filipino favorites from Andok’s, Hen Lin, and Mary Grace as well.

Mama Lulu and her children are best known for their wholesome and humorous family content showcasing relatable Filipino humor that resonates with their 17.6 million TikTok followers.
