On social media, Street Kohi, a cafe in Quezon City, announced “The Little Prince x Lantern Festival 2025,” an event where fans can “step into a galaxy of wonder where lanterns float like stars and the world of ‘The Little Prince’ comes alive.”

“Free your heart. Follow the light. Find your planet,” it said.

The lantern festival will run from December 12 to 14, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., at the Street Kohi in 24 Mayaman St., UP Village, Quezon City.

In the three-day event, fans can expect to receive goodies and participate in a photobooth inspired by the novel. They can also participate in activities such as designing their own lantern, writing wish cards, and other workshops.

The entrance fee to “The Little Prince x Lantern Festival 2025” starts at P330 per person.

Written by French novelist Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, "The Little Prince” follows a young prince who visits various planets, including Earth. It addresses themes of loneliness, friendship, love, and loss.

The novel is considered one of the literary classics. It is the most translated book in the world, having been translated into 480 languages.

Previously, it was adapted into a Filipino puppet play titled "Prinsipe Bahaghari." It was turned into an animated movie in 2015.
