Michelin Guide 2026: Michelin Selected PH restaurants, Bib Gourmand awardees, special awards
The Michelin Guide has unveiled its 2026 edition, which included Philippine restaurants that made it on the Michelin Selected list, Bib Gourmand awardees, and those that received special awards.
At the inaugural Michelin Guide Ceremony: Manila and Environs & Cebu 2026, held Thursday night at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Newport World Resorts, a total of 25 Philippine restaurants were recognized with the Bib Gourmand distinction, while over 70 establishments were included in the Michelin Selected list.
According to the Michelin Guide, the Bib Gourmand is awarded to restaurants that offer “a three-course meal at a reasonable price.”
Meanwhile, the Michelin Selected restaurants are establishments that have been officially recognized and recommended by the Michelin Guide, but have not received a star or Bib Gourmand distinction just yet.

In February, anonymous inspectors of the prestigious Michelin Guide arrived in the Philippines to begin their culinary journey through the archipelago for the highly anticipated 2026 selection.
In September 2024, Michelin recommended six Philippine hotels. A year later, in August 2025, it had 20 astounding establishments on its recommendation list.
Of the 20 properties, five hotels have been awarded the Michelin Key distinction for 2025:
- Amanpulo in Palawan
- Dusit Thani Mactan in Cebu
- Fairmont Makati in Metro Manila
- Nay Palad in Siargao
- Raffles Makati in Metro Manila
Similar to the Michelin Stars given to restaurants, the Michelin Key recognizes hotels that deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.
The Michelin Key has three tiers:
- One Key: A very special stay
- Two Keys: An exceptional stay
- Three Keys: An extraordinary stay
