Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos celebrate Michelin Guide's arrival in PH

Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos are ecstatic that the Michelin Guide has finally landed in the Philippines.

The Kapuso couple, who are both true blue foodies, shared photos from when they attended the inaugural Michelin Guide Ceremony: Manila and Environs & Cebu 2026, held on October 30 at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Newport World Resorts.

"As huge fans of the guide, we were so honored to be invited to the inaugural Michelin Guide Ceremony," Khalil said. "This is huge, guys."

"Our country was just awarded 108 restaurants spanning from humble street food stalls and karinderyas to world-class fine dining establishments," he added.

Khalil also expressed hope for a "new chapter" where the world will get to know the real essence of Filipino food, which he described as "soulful, diverse, and deeply personal."

He also shared photos from his dining experiences in Michelin-starred Philippine restaurants, including Helm, Hapag, Toyo Eatery, Linamnam, Inato, Gallery by Chele, Asador Alfonso, Celera, and Kasa Palma.

Meanwhile, Gabbi described attending the Michelin Guide ceremony as "priceless," especially after seeing the smiles of the Filipino chefs present at the event.

"As a fan of the Michelin Guide, this truly feels like a historic moment for Philippine cuisine!" she said.

"Our foodie hearts are beaming with pride and joy!" she added. "Huge congratulations to everyone!"

The Michelin Guide recognized 108 establishments in the Philippines for its inaugural 2026 list: 74 Michelin Selected, 25 Bib Gourmand, eight with One Michelin Star, and one with Two Michelin Stars.
