The Underbelly thanks diners with free noodle refills following Michelin Bib Gourmand award
Ramen restaurant The Underbelly is offering free noodle refills until supplies last as a gesture of gratitude after it was named among the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand awardees.
According to The Underbelly, diners get one free kaedama or noodle refill for every ramen or tsukemen bowl ordered.
"If we're being honest, getting a Bib Gourmand from The MICHELIN Guide 2026 wasn't something we expected. But here we are, and it's because of you. To the curious diners who showed up and wanted to try what we were doing — this one's for you," the restaurant said.
The promo will run until supplies last, and applies to noodles only; broth and toppings are not included.
"We'll keep doing what we do best: serving ramen and tsukemen bowls worthy of your hard-earned money," it added.
The Underbelly was among the 25 restaurants that were awarded the Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide 2026 Philippine edition.
According to the Michelin Guide, the Bib Gourmand is awarded to restaurants that offer “a three-course meal at a reasonable price.”
Meanwhile, 74 Philippine restaurants were included in the Michelin Selection. Establishments in this list have been officially recognized and recommended by the Michelin Guide, but have not received a star or Bib Gourmand distinction just yet.
Nine restaurants also received the prestigious Michelin Stars, with Chef Josh Boutwood's Helm earning the highest distinction with two Michelin Stars.
