Chinese tea house opens Southeast Asia's first pet-friendly branch in QC

Chagee, an international tea house from Yunnan, China, opened its first-ever pet-friendly store in Southeast Asia in Eastwood City.

The new branch is a response to the growing number of fur parents in the Philippines, offering a space where customers can enjoy their tea while spending time with their pets.

At the entrance, guests will be welcomed by a rooftop cat installation and a dog sculpture, while the indoor and outdoor seating areas feature comfortable chairs and tables, with air purifiers strategically placed throughout the store.

The pet-friendly store also provides free drinking water for pets at designated areas, as well as a dedicated cleaning station with wet wipes, lint rollers, and trash bags, along with an indoor handwash area for customers.

For fur parents, the drinks are served in pet-themed cups featuring pastel designs and illustrations of cats and dogs, exclusive to the Eastwood branch.

Chagee first opened in the country in August at SM North EDSA. Aside from the Philippines, the brand has a growing global presence, with branches in China, the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, and other countries.
