Chinese New Year 2026: Metro Manila restos with promos, set menus for a sumptuous celebration
Chinese New Year is just around the corner!
The occasion comes on Tuesday, February 17, three days after the Valentine's Day rush. It's also a special non-working holiday, so if you're still looking for a place to usher in the Year of the Fire Horse, we've listed restaurants in Metro Manila offering promos and set menus featuring sumptuous Chinese dishes.
Din Tai Fung
Din Tai Fung presents its Golden Prosperity Menu for 2026, featuring salted egg-flavored dishes such as lobster tail, pork ribs, and tofu in celebration of the Chinese New Year. The three dishes will be available for a limited time beginning February 12.
Din Tai Fung is located at Uptown Parade, Bonifacio High Street, SM Megamall, and SM Mall of Asia, among other branches.
Hao
Hao, a newly opened Chinese restaurant designed by Kenneth Cobonpue, is offering a Chinese New Year special featuring a curated set menu for two (P4,500).
The menu includes short rib confit, mixed truffle mushrooms, lamb bakaw, soft shell crab bao, braised pork bao, fish soup, fried rice, and yin yang pudding. The set menu is available from February 13 to 17.

Savoy Hotel
For one day only, Savoy Hotel is offering a Chinese New Year lunch buffet (P788–P1,588 per person) on February 17, featuring festive and auspicious dishes such as salmon yee sang and crispy jellyfish salad, as well as dim sum, steamed whole fish, beef with broccoli, Yang Chow fried rice, and a crispy lechon belly carving station.

Empress Dining
Empress Dining is offering the Prosperity Toss salad (P1,080–P2,080), a Chinese New Year ritual in which it is believed that the higher the toss, the greater the prosperity for the year ahead.

Yawaragi
Especially for the Chinese New Year, Hotel Okura's Yawaragi restaurant is offering a Chinese-themed buffet featuring the hotel's signature Japanese dishes, inspired byChinese New Year festivities.
Priced at P1,800, the buffet features kombucha-herbed roasted ribeye, egg custard tarts, and a variety of seasonal ingredients from Japan, such as wagyu, sashimi, sushi rolls, nigiri, and soba noodles, among others.
