How much does a Valentine’s Day date in a Michelin-recognized restaurant cost?
It's the first Valentine’s season where diners in the Philippines can celebrate in a Michelin-recognized restaurant.
The prestigious guide launched in the Philippines last October, recognizing 108 establishments across the country. The Michelin Guide gave two stars to just one restaurant, Chef Josh Boutwood's Helm and a single star to eight establishments. Twenty-five restaurants meanwhile received the Bib Award.
We know scoring a table on Valentine's Day weekend in these restaurants is next to impossible so if you're curious about the costs or perhaps planning for a dinner later in the season, check out these five restaurants we surveyed just for you.
Linamnam
Known to serve only 10 diners per evening, Linamnam announced on social media that their Valentine’s Menu will be priced at P9,500 and will be available from February 11-15.
Linamnam is one of only eight Filipino restaurants to receive a star from the Michelin Guide, which described the restaurant’s dishes as “deeply personal,” “rooted in regional tradition” and “shaped by the chef’s philosophy.”

Asador
This Michelin-starred destination restaurant in Cavite just launched its Roasting Room giving diners the option to go a la carte, where their signature roasts are available starting P4,500 for 2-3 persons.
But don't worry, the classic tasting menu is still very much available. There are two to choose from — Heritage, which allows you to choose from fish, pork, the house-aged A5 Wagyu ham for your mains, or Journey which serves both conchinillo and lamb.

Cabel
This Bib awardee specializes in southern Mindanao cuisine such as pianggang manok and crisp okoy. For February 14 and 15, their Valentine’s Day 5-course menus for two people are priced at either P2,499, which comes with two glasses of wine, and P2,999 which comes with a bottle of wine.

Bolero
There is plenty of reasons to swing by Bolero this Valentine's Weekend, but we're zeroing in on their Ferrero Rocher Cheesecake, presumably a version of the restaurant's award-winning "decadent, molten-centered cheesecake." The Bib awardee has listed it as a limited offer. Expect to shell out an upwards of P500 for a slice of their awarded cheesecakes.

Cur8
One of only six Cebu-based restaurants to receive a Michelin Bib Gourmand, Cur8's Valentine’s Day menu will set you back P2,199 plus service charge per person.
The menu includes pork rendang croquette, tamarind beef belly, miso salmon, black garlic and lychee somtam, and a free glass of wine. The Michelin Guide describes the restaurant as a place “where Asian cuisine is reimagined with bold style,” and their menu “approachable.”
