Jin's liquor brand IGIN is coming to PH supermarkets
IGIN, the South Korean liquor brand by Jin of BTS, is hitting local supermarkets!
On X, IGIN announced that Metro Manila rollout will start on February 21. Participating supermarkets include Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Easymart, The Marketplace, and Shopwise.
The products that will be available on the shelves are Apple Gin and Apple Tonic.
"You asked, we listened— we know you’ve been asking for IGIN in your supermarkets, Philippines," IGIN said.
Jin teamed up with prominent South Korean chef Baek Jong Won to launch IGIN in 2024.
The two have been good friends for years, bonding over their shared passion for cooking, and in recent years, a love for traditional Korean liquor.
In 2022, Jin released a four-episode online series called "Jin's Traditional Alcohol Journey," where he learned to make homemade alcohol from master Park Rokdam, under the guidance of Baek Jong Won.
