Homegrown café Deuces to permanently close Makati branch

Deuces, one of the beloved coffee spots in Makati City, is permanently closing its Perea branch beginning Monday, March 9.

On Instagram, the homegrown café announced that its last full day of operations would be on Sunday, and that it would also serve as Deuces’ farewell party from 3 p.m. onwards.

“Perea was never just a café. It was a space for conversations, first dates, long meetings, creative ideas, and everyday rituals,” Deuces wrote.

“We’re closing this chapter with full hearts; and entering a new era, stronger and more intentional,” they added.

While the Perea branch is closing, Deuces has other operational stores in Metro Manila, including SM Aura Premier, Newport Mall, and Paz Madrigal Plaza.

Deuces opened in Perea in 2022 and is known for its black, white, and sweet white coffee offerings, as well as Japanese-inspired dishes such as maki rolls, curry, and tonkatsu.
