2 PH restaurants among the top 10 best pizzas in Asia Pacific
Two Philippine pizzerias are among the 50 best pizzerias of the Asia Pacific (APAC) region this 2026, both placing in the top 10.
Crosta, owned by Ingga S. Cabangon Chua and Thomas Woudwyk and led by Yuichi Ito, maintained its 2025 spot at fifth place.
The pizzeria, with locations in Makati and San Juan, is best known for its sourdough crust and a variety of inventive flavors, even having vegan and vegetarian options.
A Mano, owned by Amado Forés, took the 9th spot, two notches down from its 7th position last year. A Mano is known for its traditional-leaning pizza cooked in its iconic red Valoriani oven.
Crosta and A Mano were the only two Philippine restaurants in the list.
Meanwhile, RistoPizza by Napoli sta ca in Tokyo, Japan was named the best pizzeria in the region, followed by The Pizza Bar on 38th in Tokyo, Japan.
Hong Kong's Fiata; Gigi’s in Sydney, Australia; and Spacca Napoli in Seoul, South Korea complete the top 5.
The awards ceremony was held at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Tokyo, where the two local restaurants were named as part of the list.
On social media, Crosta celebrated the recognition and congratulated A Mano as well.
"5 years in a row #1 in the country," Crosta said as it thanked 50 Top Pizza. "Congratulations to our fellow flag bearer A Mano," it added as it tagged the pizzeria.
"Always honored to share the stage with you guys," A Mano replied.
According to 50 Top Pizza, “The top 15 positions in the 50 Top Pizza Asia – Pacific 2026 ranking, automatically enter the 100 Best Pizzerias in the World, which will meet in Naples on September 15th.”
The 50 Top Pizza Awards is an award-giving body of 50 Italy Group, which started listing the best pizzas in 2017. It launched in Italy and soon expanded across the world to include the APAC region.
