Filipino bakery-café Mary Grace to open Singapore outlet this week

The cheese rolls and ensaymada of Café Mary Grace have landed in Singapore!

On Facebook, the homegrown bakery-café announced that it will open its new outlet on Friday in the Little Red Dot at 52 Tras St., its first outside the Philippines. Table reservations are now open online.

Aside from its flagship baked goods, the café will offer savory meals and dishes, including Angus beef tapa, chicken inasal sandwich, and cassava chips with onion dip, as well as Singapore exclusives such as ensaymada with salted egg, crab cake brioche, and a cheese roll with kaya jam.

Café Mary Grace first announced its expansion to Singapore in October 2025.

Before the announcement, Mary Grace hosted a three-day online pop-up in September 2025, which was "met with sold-out success," Time Out Singapore reported.

It first opened as a bazaar kiosk in 1994, where the famous ensaymada and cheese rolls were offered. In 2002, it opened its first store, and four years later, in 2006, it opened its first cafe.

In Metro Manila, it has branches in Alabang Town Center, Ayala Malls Circuit, Century City Mall, and Bonifacio High Street, among others.
