South Korean matcha chain opens first branch in PH

There's a new matcha spot in town!

South Korean matcha chain Super Matcha just opened its first Philippine branch at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. 

The matcha brand held its grand opening on March 14, offering its line of signature drinks and pastries, as well as country-exclusive menu items inspired by Filipino desserts. 

Customers can sample Super Matcha's tried-and-tested Pure Matcha Brewed Tea, Super Matcha Latte, Coconut Matcha Latte, Super Matcha Lemonade, and the roasted barley-based Super Bori Soy Latte. 

A must-try is the Philippine-exclusive Ensaymatcha, a matcha latte topped with queso de bola cream and grated queso de bola. 

Other menu items include specialty coffee, matcha soft serve, matcha roll cakes, and butter cookies in four flavors (calamansi, coconut, espresso, and matcha). 

Super Matcha is known for exclusively using premium, organic ingredients sourced in Korea. It has several locations across South Korea, as well as branches in Malaysia and Thailand, aside from the Philippines. 

Super Matcha at SM Megamall is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
