After 32 years, Old Swiss Inn announces permanent closure in Makati
After more than three decades serving Swiss comfort food, Old Swiss Inn has announced it will permanently close its Makati branch.
The restaurant confirmed on social media that its Makati location will have its final service on July 1.
“After 32 unforgettable years, Old Swiss Inn turns the page on a chapter filled with family celebrations, cozy dinners, and lasting memories,” the statement read.
To mark its final days, the restaurant is launching a “Signature Moments Card” promo running from May 1 to July 1, offering “special rewards, surprises, and one last chance to relive your favorite Makati moments.”
While the Makati branch is closing, Old Swiss Inn said operations will continue at its Paco branch in Manila, along with other services such as party platters and takeout.
The restaurant added that it is “exploring new locations” to expand its presence in other communities.
Old Swiss Inn is among Metro Manila’s most dependable restaurants, having remained open during the 2020 pandemic and even during Holy Week breaks.
Among its most celebrated dishes are fondue, goulash, gnagi, and fresh corned beef.
