Gordon Ramsay’s ‘Idiot Sandwich’ pop-up to debut in Taguig

“What are you? An idiot sandwich!”

Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines is launching a limited-time “Idiot Sandwich” pop-up in the outdoors of Uptown Mall in Taguig City, marking the first pop-up of its kind anywhere in the world.

The concept is based on Gordon Ramsay’s viral “Idiot Sandwich” pop culture moment, which later inspired a YouTube series and the cookbook “Idiot Sandwich: 100+ Recipes to Elevate Your Sandwich Game.”

As of writing, the launch date and detailed menu of the pop-up have not yet been revealed, so keep your eyes peeled!

The “Idiot Sandwich” originated from a 2015 sketch on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” featuring the culinary icon.

In January 2025, Gordon was in the Philippines to celebrate the opening of his first restaurant in the country, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill in Pasay City.
