It's that time of the year when we make extra special efforts to honor and celebrate the incredible mothers and mother figures we have in our lives.

If you're scrambling for last-minute ideas, these restaurants are serving up something special for moms across the city.

Café 1228

Café 1228 offers an elevated international buffet for Mother's Day, featuring US prime rib, whole lechon, fresh seafood, Japanese dishes, and Asian favorites, plus interactive elements like a chocolate bloom dome and a dessert spread with lychee rose entremets and strawberry creations.

The package (P2,850 per person) includes free-flow beverages, a celebratory drink, and a floral arrangement for each mother on May 10 only.

Café 1228 is located at the New World Makati Hotel.

Morton's The Steakhouse

Morton's The Steakhouse is offering a five-course Mother's Day set menu featuring starters like applewood-smoked bacon steak, jumbo shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, and Caesar salad, followed by premium mains such as the classic filet oscar, prime ribeye, and A5 wagyu sirloin, along with seafood options and sides like smoked gouda au gratin and creamed spinach.

The set menu (P5,850 to P6,000) is available until May 13 for parties of four or six and includes a special Mother's Day cheesecake for dessert.

Morton's The Steakhouse is located at Uptown, 11th Avenue corner 36th Street, Taguig.

Citadines Bay City Manila

Citadines Bay City Manila is serving a full-course set that includes soup, appetizer, seafood, and beef mains, dessert, and brewed iced tea, along with a complimentary Mother's Day cake. The set (P3,499) is good for five to six people for the entire month of May.

Mesclun Restaurant + Café

Mesclun Restaurant + Café is hosting a Mother's Day experience that combines a guided floral workshop with an international florist and a custom tea-blending session with a clinical herbalist.

The experience (P5,600 per person) is available only on May 10.

Mesclun is located at Ascott Makati.

Hard Rock Café

Hard Rock Café Manila is staging a live Mother's Day show featuring K Brosas, with a mix of music, comedy, and audience interaction.

Tickets (P1,500) include a P1,000 entrance fee and P500 consumables, with doors opening at 7 p.m. on May 13.

Hard Rock Café is located at S Maison at Conrad Manila, Seaside Boulevard, Coral Way, Pasay.

Casa Buenas

Casa Buenas is serving a specially curated Mother's Day menu featuring starters like okoy, laing pani puri, and talaba, followed by chicken binakol and mains such as sinanglay, humba, and tinapa fried rice, ending with a banana, muscovado, and coconut dessert.

The set (P3,410) is good for two people and is available on May 10 for both lunch and dinner.
