Pia Arcangel says she's not endorsing any product for eye bag removal

Broadcast journalist Pia Arcangel on Sunday clarified the she was not endorsing any product that supposedly helps remove eye bags.

A 24 Oras report said Arcangel never used such a product and that she never permitted the manufacturer of the product to use her name and photos for her supposed endorsement which have circulated on social media.

Arcangel has written a letter addressed to the company regarding the issue. The company has yet to respond to her.

A complaint against the product's manufacturer has also been filed before the National Bureau of Investigation.

Meanwhile, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said the product was not registered with the Center for Cosmetics Regulation and Research of the agency.
