Miss International 2013 Bea Santiago does not have room for hate.

The beauty queen was diagnosed with a chronic kidney disease (CKD) in 2018 and has been open about her struggle with the illness. On Thursday, Bea also opened up about her battle with hate.

Bea posted a photo of a comment that identified her CKD as "karma." The person who left the comment also celebrated the fact that Bea's disease could be fatal.

"Will only talk about it once. I do not tolerate hate. Will never wish bad shit to any bashers, trolls, haters, killers, rapists, drug addicts, drug pushers, corrupt men and women, dead beat dads, abusers. Its 2019, I promised to God, my family and to myself I will NEVER LET HATE WIN. The cure for any hatred is LOVE," Bea declared in sharing a screenshot of her exchange with the "troll."

Directly responding to the comment, Bea wished for the person to find a cure for the hate he felt.

Bea also took the incident as an opportunity to educate, sharing information that CKD is "curable" if more people have access to treatment. — AT, GMA News
