I’m proud to announce that I am now on board with Climate Change Commission. My journey continues in being a voice for Mother nature. ? ? Learning is one area I’m always open to. I understand that I will never get to master all knowledge the world can offer but I choose to grow deeper in the area of my expertise even if it’s just a small percentage of it all. That’s why I’m looking forward to represent the Philippines for the very first Youth Climate Summit of the United Nations in New York very soon. ? ? I’m so honored to be chosen for this and I can’t wait to meet the other representatives of various countries including very influential personalities in this field. The best part of it is that they still categorize me as a youth! Yes! I can’t believe it myself ???? Hahahaha!?????????? ? I’m excited to share with you all everything that I will gain from this summit. ? ? Thank you Secretary Emmanuel de Guzman. ? ? #worthycause #GreatMinds #GreatIdeas #SaveTheEarth #SaveThePlanet #GoGreen #StartToday #environment #GoodCause #bestoftheday #climatechange #climatechangecommission #ccc

“Youths play a crucial role in addressing climate change. We are the voice of this generation in spreading awareness on the importance of preserving and cultivating what is left of the planet. We are the ones who will experience its irreversible impacts if the world will not act sooner,” Karen said in a press statement released by the Climate Change Commission, of which she is the Youth Ambassador for Climate Action.

On Instagram, Karen said “I believe every decision we make today on climate must be bold and brave if we’re going to make a difference in the lives of the largest population of young people the world has ever seen.”
