Beauty queen Isabelle de Leon shares heartwarming experience with children

Miss Multinational Philippines 2019 Isabelle de Leon has a heart of gold.

In a recent Instagram post, the beauty queen shared her heartwarming experience with children at the Bahay Kanlungan ni Maria Domenica, a nursing home in Antipolo.

"When a child experiences a dark and traumatic event in their life.. It's hard to become a child again. Bahay Kanlungan aims to bring back that childhood with the help of people like you and me," de Leon said in her post.

Even before winning the crown in September, Isabelle promised to help the Bahay Kanlungan as it has been her advocacy.

"I remember telling them, na win or lose, I will do my best na matulungan sila kahit hindi po ako manalo. E, ngayon na nanalo po tayo, I have more avenues to help them," she said in an interview with GMA News shortly after winning the title. — Angelica Y. Yang/LA, GMA News
