KC Concepcion says weight gain from PCOS made her put on hold accepting TV offers

KC Concepcion revealed that having Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) caused her to gain weight, making her put on hold accepting any showbiz offers.

In an interview on Tim Yap LIVE! on YouTube, KC said she feels super grateful for work but since she had gained "so much weight" due to PCOS, she wanted to first bounce back and be at her best.

"I wanted to be physically fit and I wanna look good. I wanna get my body tight. When I look good, I feel good and that's what you serve people on screen. It's just as simple as that," she said.

She said she wanted to talk about it because she thought more women should know about it, since a lot have it.

"It's quite common in a way, but not a lot of people talk about it," KC began. "But you know that's something I want to talk about later on in depth, in the future."

Thankfully, KC has an ObGyn, who has been guiding her to cope with PCOS and these days, Mega's daughter said she's ready to come back.

"I would say yes to projects when they come. I'm ready now. I've lost a lot of weight and at the same time you know, I feel good about coming back," she said.

"I eat so well, I take supplements I try to be as active as I can be, especially in this situation dapat healthy ka," she said.

Polycystic ovary / ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrine disorders in women. Among the signs of the ailment is weight gain.
