Megan Young admits to 'diva' attitude during early years in showbiz

Megan Young opened up about issues on her "diva" attitude during her younger years in the showbiz industry, in the latest episode of her podcast with Mikael Daez.

As they talked about couples working together professionally, the two also touched on the tittle-tattle about Megan being a "diva" at work.

According to Mikael, when they were were first dating, he was shocked to find out that it was the impression Megan gave their colleagues.

Megan admitted, "I wasn't a pleasure to work with when I was much younger — 18, 19, maybe 20" before narrating the incident that became a turning point for her.

"I was working on a show and I didn't know how to make pakisama. In the back of my head, I was just thinking na ok, 'I go to work [and] if I don't like something, I'll tell people that I don't like it'," she narrated.

But Megan "didn't realize that there was a nicer way of saying things."

"[There] even came to the point that my PA told me, 'no one wants to do your makeup because you're such a diva, because you always make reklamo. And you always say you don't like this, you don't like that'," Megan said.

After the incident, Megan said she felt really bad. "That was like a shifting point for me. I talked to the makeup artist on my team and I apologized for acting that way."

When Mikael asked why she acted that way, Megan said, it was "ignorance and it was me not knowing any better."

"At the end of it I wasn't being a nice person, I wasn't being a good person and I didn't have the proper guidance for the people around me at that time," Megan explained. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
