Rhian Ramos shares advice on how to handle body-shaming comments

Rhian Ramos has been a frequent target of body-shamers or people who think it’s okay to criticize or comment on other people’s physique.

If you find yourself receiving body-shaming comments in person (hello relatives who comment, “ang taba/payat mo ngayon!”) or from random strangers on the internet, Rhian has a few tips on how she’s dealt with them all.

“I just take it with a grain of salt ... it doesn’t really hurt my feelings. I own many mirrors and part of my job is to know what I look like,” the actress said during her contract signing on Friday.

“I don’t think I ever hear something that I don’t expect first because I know myself.”

Rhian said she knew if she was gaining or losing weight, but at the end of the day, she’s just trying to be healthy and do what’s right for her body.

“If there’s anything, someone else who doesn’t like with my body, eh ’di wag nila gawin sa sarili nila,” Rhian said.

“’Yung sarili kong gusto, taste, at health goals ang susundin ko.”

In the past, many people had questioned whether the actress had an eating disorder because of her weight loss.

However, Rhian shut down the rumors and said it’s because of stress. – RC, GMA News
