Church, nuns open community pantries in Manila

The Baclaran Church has opened up a community pantry inside its compound to offer food and supplies to those in need.

As seen in Jonathan Andal's report for "Unang Balita" early Wednesday morning, a long line of  people flocked to the pantry for eggs, bigas, biscuits, instant noodles, face shields, diapers, toothpaste and other supplies.

The public was welcome to donate food and other items to the pantry.

The church also set up a donation box for those who wish to donate cash to buy more supplies.
