Heart Evangelista launches own beauty and wellness brand

Heart Evangelista has a "new baby," and it aims to promote beauty and wellness in everyday living.

The Queen of Creative Collaborations, along with her sister Camille Ongpauco, officially launched their very own brand called Pure Living Wellness International on Wednesday, November 24.

According to Heart, Pure Living also aims to be a rewarding business platform to "empower modern-day entrepreneurs."

Be your own boss

As someone who has been working since she was 13 years old while keeping tabs on her health and wellbeing, Heart started her line with a mindset to help business-minded women like herself "be their own boss."

"I thought that this was the best way to come up with a company that isn't just going to help you with looking, feeling, and being healthy…" Heart said.

"I wanted to have something that would empower people [who] don't have work now, [like many] mothers [staying at] home."

While she's known for her fabulous persona on TV, Twitter and Instagram, Heart wants to remind everyone that they take better care of themselves without spending a great deal of money.

"I love going to the dermatologist... but kunwari hindi lahat ng tao makakapunta sa derma... maraming nagsasabing pa'no ko makukuha yung skin na 'yan, eh hindi ko naman afford 'yung treatment," Heart said.

"So we wanted to come up with beauty gadgets na pwede niyong gamitin sa bahay. We made sure na afford nila," she added.

During her livestream, Heart introduced three of Pure Living's primary brand Vita Sense, Luxelle and Ultima.
