When can a woman get pregnant again after giving birth?
According to Dr. Raul Quillamor on a "Pinoy MD" episode, women can conceive again once their period returns.
He reminded, however, that it's better to wait a bit more before immediately following the pregnancy.
("We advise that they should space out pregnancies if possible. Ideally the gap should be two years so the woman's body can adjust to the physiologic changes.")
Of course, this way she can take care of her baby because if she gets pregnant again it becomes difficult on the body. It's a challenge to care for the baby.")
According to Healthline, a woman's period is likely to return six to eight weeks after going to labor.
