GMA Kapuso Foundation marks Oral Health Month with free dentures to beneficiaries

The GMA Kapuso Foundation will be providing free dentures to beneficiaries this Oral Health Month.

According to a report on "24 Oras," Monday, the beneficiaries underwent a COVID-19 antigen test before attending an oral screening and impression taking.

Among the beneficiaries are Belina and Jerlyn Anciano, a mother and daughter who no longer have many of their front teeth.

"Ang hirap talaga lalo ngayon nagsasalita ako lumalabas 'yung hangin," said Nanay Belina.

Jerlyn, for her part, has been using dentures since she was 12 years old but she has yet to change them through the years. She is now 33 years old.

She said she is having difficulty looking for a job without her teeth.

Together with the Philippine Prosthodontics Society and other partners, the GMA Kapuso Foundation will give away dentures under the Ngiting Kapuso "Pustiso" Project.

Jerlyn is thankful to be among the beneficiaries and she is looking forward to her new dentures.

The GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
