Kris Aquino shares glimpse of health condition, says she'll be getting new kind of treatment

Kris Aquino has shared a new update as she continues to battle her autoimmune diseases.

In a "gratitude" post on Instagram, Kris shared clips of her health journey. She showed flares on her face, swelling, and allergic reactions during treatment, as well as her many trips to the hospital.

Thanking her doctors, she said, "I have many limitations when it comes to medicine & treatments because of my allergies and/or adverse reactions YET they both found treatments that given time can help me get my health back."

Kris said that her "last numbers were alarming because maraming bumagsak na sana steady lang at yung mga nanahimik (like my ANA titer) nagparamdam ulit."

"Pinaalala sa ‘kin na yung 4 diagnosed autoimmune ko, pwedeng maging 5 or 6, and my major organs like my heart & lungs can suffer permanent damage," she added.

She said that she'll be receiving a new type of treatment starting next week, and that she's praying her body could handle it.

Addressing her supporters, she wrote, "THANK YOU- many of you don’t know me personally but friends of my family, my friends, those helping take care of me- all have heartwarming stories about people they know who keep praying for me to get better."

"I don’t know what i’ve done to deserve your kindness but please know YOU GIVE ME HOPE & COURAGE to KEEP THE FAITH and TRUST GOD’S Merciful LOVE. Thank you for being my RAINBOW," she added.

Just this Easter Sunday, Kris was out and about with Batangas Governor Mark Leviste, her son Bimby, and friends including fashion designer Michael Leyva.

Kris has been diagnosed with various autoimmune diseases and has been staying in America for her medical treatments.
