Drew Arellano says he is planning to get a vasectomy

Drew Arellano and Iya Villania recently teased fans about baby no. 5 but on Thursday's “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” it seems the couple are stopping at four children.

Drew hinted that he might get a vasectomy operation done soon.

While saying his birthday message to Iya, the "BIyahe ni Drew" host mentioned the possibility of him undergoing the procedure.

“You’re the best mother to all the kids, and, uh, I will do my vasectomy soon,” Drew said, which made Iya laugh.

“Say it’s a joke,” Tito Boy responded, and Iya echoed.

“No, that’s the plan. That’s our plan,” Drew answered, with Iya agreeing.

But when asked if it meant they were “stopping at four,” Iya said, “Let’s see. Until he gets it done, we never know, right?”

Iya added, “Hindi naman bukas yung schedule, ‘di ba?”

Minor surgical procedure, vasectomy is a form of male birth control that stops sperm from leaving the body.

In 2019, the Commission of Population Control began promoting the non-scalpel vasectomy as a form of contraceptive. It is said to be 99.8% effective and only needs to be done once.

With four cute kids —Primo, Leon, Alana, and Astro — getting a vasectomy doesn't sound like a shabby idea, no?
