Conjoined twins finish third grade with honors
A pair of conjoined twins from Pandi, Bulacan proved that their condition won't hold them back from achieving their dreams.
According to a report on "Good News," 15-year-old twins Joy and Joyce Magsino have defied the odds as they finished third grade with honors!
According to Dr. Jay Villavicencio, Joy and Joyce are craniopagus twins, a type of conjoined twins who are attached together at the head.
"Ito ay isang rare na birth defect. Maaaring nagkaroon ng problema noong sila ay embryo pa lang at during development," he said.
As much as their family wants the twins to undergo an operation, it would cost them millions of pesos and may also put the twins' lives at risk.
