Aubrey Miles teaches daughter Rocket to float as part of therapy

Aubrey Miles shared an endearing moment with her daughter, Rocket, as she taught her how to float in a swimming pool.

On Instagram, Aubrey said that going out of town once a month is “part of Rocket’s therapy to be in an unfamiliar environment."

According to the actress, being "surrounded by water is a big factor to calm and ground" her daughter.

“Most of the kids on the spectrum [love] to be in water,” she added.

In her post, Aubrey admitted that she is a little strict with Rocket but explained it was her way of “showing her the reality and [struggles] of a normal child too.”

“For me, with autism or not, we can’t always give in,” she said.

Aubrey and her husband, Troy Montero, shared that Rocket was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2022.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2022, has been sharing updates on their daughter’s progress on social media.

In 2023, Rocket underwent stem cell therapy for her diagnosis.

Aside from Rocket, the couple has a son named Hunter, while Aubrey also has an older son named John Maurie, with ex-boyfriend JP Obligacion.
