According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by extreme food restriction, low body weight, fear of weight gain, and distorted body image. It requires coordinated care for effective management.
Eating disorders are medically classified as mental health disorders.
Claudine has been open about her mental health struggles. In August, she was rushed to the hospital due to depression and called for understanding and compassion.
