Kris Aquino tells followers: ‘I’m alive because of your prayers’
Kris Aquino gave a message to her followers for the New Year.
In her most recent Instagram update, the Queen of All Media shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed with her son, Bimby, next to her in another bed and said 2026 will lots of changes in her and Bimby’s lives.
“Please continue to help us pray for unwavering faith that the new year can only get better,” Kris said.
She told her followers and those praying with her, “I’m alive because of your prayers for someone you don’t personally know but have adopted as one you feel deserving of your time in prayer.”
“Lilipas ito at makakabawi ako sa kabutihang loob ninyo,” Kris added. “My body is at its weakest but my spirit is still #fighting.”
Meanwhile, Kris said she did not want to be separated from Bimby following a health condition.
“I even signed a waiver. Moms will understand me especially after what we went through Dec. 24-26. (That ordeal I’ll share in a video interview.)” Kris said.
In her post, she also shared what she is grateful for in 2025, most especially her sons, and thanked her doctors, nurses, and team.
“My friends from design, entertainment, politics, media, business, religious groups, and my longtime friends who you don’t know about,” she said.
In February 2025, Kris made her first public appearance since her health struggles to attend the People Asia People of the Year 2025 awards night and showed support for Michael Leyva.
Following the event, the Filipino fashion designer took to Instagram to thank the Queen of All Media for showing up for him despite her current health condition.
In her April update, Kris said that she now has nine autoimmune diseases.
She also graced Michael’s birthday celebration in October.
